About

Ian is a Computer Science graduate working in IT, supporting a large public school site and keeping hundreds of devices, systems, and classrooms operational. He focuses on practical problem solving, from hardware repair to workflow automation, and enjoys building small systems that quietly eliminate friction.

His interests sit at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and thoughtful software design. Rather than chasing titles, he’s focused on getting better at designing reliable systems and writing code that actually gets used.

This site is built with Jekyll using the Minimal Mistakes theme and hosted on GitHub Pages. It serves as a living record of projects, experiments, and lessons learned, along with the occasional reflection on work, technology, and the craft of building things well.
